Winter Sailing Camps 2026 in Taitung: A great beginning of 2026

This winter, our sailing school in Taitung kick started the 2026 sailing season with winter camps. Over the course of January and February 2026, we hosted 3 weeks of kids camps and 2 weeks of family camps and 1 week of race clinic for our advanced sailors of the Taitung sailling team, welcoming participants from across Taiwan to experience the magic of sailing in Taiwan.

A Unique Camp Experience: Sailing + Adventure sports

Each day was a balanced combination of learning and fun. Mornings were dedicated to sailing classes and sailing lessons, where beginners took their first steps to learn sailing, while more experienced students refined their skills on the water.

In the afternoons, we enjoyed the natural resources of beautiful Taitung through a variety of outdoor activities such as tree climbing, natural hot springs, beach games by the ocean, creative DIY workshops and ending the last night with a a bonfire and marshmellows by the beach.

Healthy Food, Made In-House

A key part of our camps is be sure that our students are full of energy through the entire week of camps. All meals during our kids camps  freshly prepared in-house (breakfast and dinner), while lunch is prepared with local ingredients by moms of the sailing school,  focusing on healthy, balanced nutrition to support active days outdoors.

Why Winter in Taitung?

While many places experience cold winters, Taitung offers a warm and cozy climate, making it the perfect destination for winter camps and outdoor activities. The waters in the flowing lake are chill enough to very refreshing, and when the sun is out all the kids can’t help to end the sailing lesson with a dip in the water.  We are so lucky to live in the tropical region of Taiwan where we can have fun in the water all year round.

Training for the Next Level

Alongside our camps, our team of sailors participated in a focused 3-day race clinic, preparing for this year’s regatta season. While new students were discovering the basics through our sailing courses, our competitive sailors were sharpening their techniques, strategy, and teamwork on the water.
