Looking for meaningful family activities in Taiwan? Our family sailing experience in Taitung offers a unique way for parents and children to learn sailing together while enjoying the outdoors.

What Is the Family Sailing Experience?

This program is designed for families who want to experience sailing in Taiwan together. Parents and children participate in the same program but are taught in separate groups: kids learn through games and intuitive activities, while adults focus more on theory and technical understanding. During water sessions, families come together to share the experience, ensuring the experience is both fun and educational.

Who Can Join?

Children aged eight and above are welcome, with participants grouped based on age and size. Students aged 8–14 typically sail on Optimist boats, while students aged 14+ experience sailing RS Zest boats. While students learn on different boats, they share the same goal: to learn sailing in a safe and engaging way.

When are the Courses?

Family programs are available during long weekends (清明節、勞動節、端午節、中秋節、雙十節), and winter and summer vacations. We're also able to arrange custom dates for private group bookings, get in touch to learn more!

Why Four Days?

Sailing is a complex skill that cannot be fully learned in a single day. Our four-day format allows students to gradually understand the boat and the wind, practice skills step by step, and experience difference weather conditions throughout the course. This creates a more complete and rewarding learning experience for everyone involved.

A Unique Family Adventure

Our sailing school combines sailing lessons, nature, and quality time together. If you’re looking for meaningful outdoor family activities in Taitung, this experience offers something truly different: learning, adventure, and connection all in one. Find out more on our Facebook page.
